Shevchenko Church of Christ serves:
The Slavic Evangelism Ministry was established in 1983 by Rick and Carol Pinczuk in Grimsby, Ontario, Canada. This Christian evangelistic and humanitarian ministry has been under the oversight of the elders of the Ridgewood Church of Christ in Beaumont, Texas for the past 25 years.
The Shevchenko Church of Christ, presently consisting of some 50 active members, was planted in Kyiv in 1993 by Rick and Carol as part of the foreign missions program of the Ridgewood church in Beaumont. Due to his sudden passing in October 2008, Yura Aniper has taken over the Ministerial duties and had been installed by Rick Pinczuk, before he passed away two weeks later, and the Elders as the minister for the Shevchenko church and is now being supported by the Ridgewood Church of Christ in Beaumont, TX.
